Distance is no object on the internet, and that is why we are able to design and regularly update this website for the Blockhouse Bay Historical Society Inc. based in Auckland, New Zealand. This website is a good example of where Ontanet were asked to design a logo and identity that could be extended to the Society's printed material. The stylised white-faced heron was the ideal symbol for the maritime nature of this suburb of Auckland, and the logo has been rolled out to the Society's posters, membership cards and business cards. The website provides information for new and existing members, and additionally is ideal for anyone who is interested in learning about the history of Blockhouse Bay. The Society emails documents, photographs and diary updates to Ontanet, which are then added to the website in the context of this simple, clear design.
